Grasping

How often do we drift through life grasping at all the wrong things
thinking all our unrealistic expectations will be met
that our fears are true and solid
that our life is immortal although we know others die

We fail to grasp the truth of matters that all is impermanent and changing
that expectations and fears are only our own inventions with no base in reality

When will we seek deeper meaning to have insights before our last gasp!

      1. Actually, I can relate this to avacado. At many places in Norway it is very common that people bring their own lunch pack alike other countries in Europe. And we congratulate someone if they get good avacado for lunch. It is like a lottery you never know how it is going to be. ๐Ÿ™‚
