Had brassy red hair with a radiant glare
Love the brass section in big bands and jazz
But never the brassy sort, not tasteless or loud
maybe arsey as I’ve followed my dreams
daily prompt: Brassy
Let me challenge and entertain you then I will have made a difference. Enjoy …

your daughter is a strong and compassionate lass she will do well … but things will be emotional for a year or two … visit some blogs that give you comfort and read a few archived posts, it will help 😦

Very clever play on words. Thank you for expanding my vocabulary as well…”ARSEY?” I had to look this up to learn it was British slang! 🙂 Looking forward to using it on plenty of Americans that fit the bill!! 😀

Please note it means something quite different in Oz … here it means very lucky .. UK it means bad tempered or uncooperative, so be careful 🙂 I’m a lucky Aussie 🙂

That is a BIG difference in interpretation. Reminds me of the term shagging. In the southern states in the U.S., it is a style of dancing. In England, it clearly has an entirely different meaning! 😀

then oz must have a similar meaning to UK on that one 🙂
